These terms govern use of Curtfire and purchases made through the marketplace. By creating an account, using the site or placing an order, you agree to them.
Curtfire provides the marketplace, checkout and customer support. Products may be sold by Curtfire or an independent vendor identified on the product page and order. That vendor is responsible for its product description, lawful supply, quality, warranty and fulfilment, while Curtfire may assist with payment, delivery, returns and disputes.
You must provide accurate information, keep login details secure and notify us of unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable security.
Prices are displayed in South African rand and include applicable VAT where stated. Delivery and other charges are shown before payment. Placing an order is an offer to buy. An order is accepted when payment is confirmed and the order is released for fulfilment. We may cancel and refund an order if stock, pricing or listing information was materially incorrect, fraud is suspected, or supply is unlawful.
Payments are processed by the payment provider shown at checkout. Curtfire does not store complete card details. You authorise the collection of the displayed order total and any approved refund to the original payment method.
Delivery estimates are estimates and may change for events outside reasonable control. Risk passes as required by applicable law. You must provide an accurate, accessible address and inspect the parcel on delivery.
Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act and Electronic Communications and Transactions Act remain in force. Eligible electronic transactions may be cancelled within the statutory cooling off period, subject to lawful exclusions. Defective, unsafe or incorrectly supplied goods may be returned under applicable consumer law. Hygiene, personalised, perishable, unsealed software/media and other legally excluded goods may have restricted change of mind returns. See our Returns and refunds policy.
Do not misuse the site, interfere with security, submit unlawful or misleading content, infringe intellectual property, scrape the service, or use it for fraud. Reviews must reflect a genuine experience. We may moderate content and restrict accounts where reasonably necessary.
Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that rule, each party is responsible for direct loss caused by its breach. Curtfire is not liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, or a vendor's acts beyond the responsibility imposed on Curtfire by law.
Contact support@curtfire.co.za first so we can investigate. These terms are governed by South African law. A consumer may also use remedies available under consumer protection law and an applicable regulator or ombud.
We may update these terms prospectively. The version accepted at the time of an order continues to govern that order where required.
